Pros
As someone who’s worked closely with agents and leadership, I found my time at United Insurance Group Company to be frustrating and disheartening. Unfortunately, agents are not given the respect or support they deserve. Commission rates are among the lowest in the industry, and the training provided is inconsistent at best—leaving many agents feeling unprepared and undervalued. Internally, the culture is far from collaborative. Senior leadership tends to operate with a cutthroat mentality, which creates a tense and competitive environment rather than one of growth and mutual respect. Employees are often overlooked, and recognition is rare. It’s difficult to feel motivated when the company doesn’t seem to prioritize its people.
Cons
Low pay, poor training, and a toxic leadership culture make it hard to succeed or feel valued.
