A once fantastic company who has lost its founding principles. The company has lost its soul. - Service Manager Unilever Employee Review

Pros

colleagues, friendships and sadly in the last few years that is it. Although the one stand out methodology Unilever introduced was agile working.

Cons

ineffective management, a culture of intimidation and harassment. Low morale. The way they treat the staff in the factories compared to the offices is a disgrace. Extremely poor mental health statistics due to pressure and culture. The company look to fill any new positions in low cost markets regardless of skill or talent.

Pros

Working with brands you grew up with is really exciting! The people I have met have all been amazing as well!

Cons

Everyone I have talked to are overworked and feel underpaid and despite the amount of work they do, there is no recognition or appreciation. Upper management is a mess and UL is constantly restructuring, often going from new BACK to the old structure while simultaneously letting people go leaving more people overworked. While most people are amazing, there are a few micromanagers where expectations are unknown. In addition, the lack of communication is awful. Often, I hear about certain cuts through the vine rather than directly from the people involved
