Pros
Excellent benefits. Remote work is allowed, after one year. Many coworkers are approachable and collaborative.
Cons
New code releases may not take place earlier than 10 pm CST. Over abundance of paperwork required by engineers at all levels. Technical knowledge of senior engineers varies excessively for a career level. Technical knowledge is not always the biggest factor in promotions. There are some senior engineers with junior level technical knowledge. A large chunk of pay is based on bonuses. Generous number of days off, and minimum of 10 days. All PTO after 10 days which is unused is paid as days worked. However, that means you get paid less for taking more than 10 days vacation.
