Pros

It is a high net worth firm with great time off for full time employees.

Cons

Every opportunity to save money is taken. Down to coffee cups and cutlery. I've seen 20 year vets at this company get laid off 5 years from retirement because of budget moves. I've seen entire teams get moved offshore regardless of the talent. Every decision comes down to numbers. UBS does not pay competitively so be sure to ask high when you come in. Part of it is the corporate world but UBS amplifies it.

Pros

I learned a lot while interning here. The staff took time to get to know me. They each introduced me to different aspects of the business and their specific role,s which gave me great exposure to the business. They were flexible on hours and understanding when I had a family emergency in a way other employers have not been or did not need to.

Cons

Not a low-effort position, and could get overwhelming if you were not prepared.

Pros

Very minimal pros- you are working in a call center under managers with very little experience.

Cons

Managers are useless. The greater organization refers to the Wealth Advice Center as the “WAC”… yes…. wack. It has a double meaning and the advisors on the ultra high net worth teams are known to make fun of this call center. Very unserious role.
