Pros

Work life balance is wonderful, since you won't be willing to do anything for the college you can spend time developing yourself for eventually leaving TCC.

Cons

New administration has bloated the higher levels increased blocks to accomplishing tasks. Instructors are not treated well, adjuncts are treated worse. Value of professors or instructors is an all time low. Moral is falling, and no pay raises in site now or in the future. You will never see advancement at this university, and perpetually moving goalposts As an instructor your will spend more time doing pointless paperwork then prepping and building your courses. No travel budget, no professional development budget, and gate keepers in every department do not care for interacting with instructors. Students are treated like walking wallets, our resources do not actually exist to help them, and it is a culture of distrust across all campuses. Great starting point, make sure to keep avenues open for escape

Pros

Beautiful campus, most people are awesome and nice and helpful. The meaning behind TCC is beautiful if it was true.

Cons

If your in IT be prepared to get yelled at, belittled, disrespected. Be prepared to no have a voice. Like at all. If you try to voice anything be prepared for reprocussions. Be prepared to be wrong even if your right. Be prepared to get in trouble for team building or talking to fellow it members not in your direct department. And oh huge do not trust HR to help. If your supervisor tells them they aint getting involved then HR will back down.
