Pros
TomTom truly stands out when it comes to work culture. The flexibility in work timings and remote work options makes it an employee-friendly organization that respects work-life balance. The environment is highly conducive to learning — management actively encourages you to ask questions, and you are constantly exposed to growth opportunities that keep you engaged and motivated. The people here are one of the biggest strengths. Most colleagues are highly skilled in their respective domains and foster a collaborative spirit, always willing to help one another. My current manager deserves special mention — the level of guidance, constructive feedback, and genuine investment in career development is truly exceptional and sets a great example of what good leadership looks like. Inclusivity is taken seriously here. Women are treated with equality, which is refreshing and speaks of the company's progressive values. The office infrastructure is nothing short of world-class. From a games room and shower facilities to an in-house cafeteria and a library, TomTom clearly invests in employee well-being and comfort.
Cons
One area that could use improvement is the clarity and communication of requirements from the Product Management side. Requirements are sometimes vague or insufficiently defined, which can create friction and slow down the development process.
