Pros

Pay, commission, benefits are ok and there are some good people there.

Cons

They micro-manage way too much. They don’t have enough staff at any property. You can’t expect one-two people to run an office. You also can’t expect one person to work every weekend. The regional does not have a care in the world for her employees and makes it known. The regionals expect you to take all grace hill yet they don’t do it themselves as I have seen multiple fair housing issues. IT people take forever to get back to you, if they do at all. Again, they need more people but, don’t have the budget for it. Higher up management are allowed to bully and ridicule you in front of multiple people in meetings and when brought up to HR they again can’t care cause they’re understaffed. Also, there is no confidentiality at this company. Any complaints, suggestions or topics you’d like to keep private between you and your regional are talked about for all to hear. In all honesty the company has potential but, a very long way to go. I foresee them having to learn things the hard way to become a great company to work for.

Timberland Partners Response

Thank you for taking the time to provide a review on Glassdoor. Over the last six months, we have reviewed this feedback and have made changes in the Nashville, TN area in regards to additional support. We do have a standard process for how many team members are supporting a community and if certain circumstances we do change our staffing model. Human Resources has also recently added to the staff to support Timberland Partners. It appears that the overall support for the community you are working; it needs to be looked at individually. We are happy to do this, and if you could send an e-mail to HR@TimberlandPartners.com so that we can ensure continued success, we would appreciate it!

Pros

Pay is good, fair expectations, team culture is great if everyone on your team contributes, friendly upper management and supportive sister sites.

Cons

Health benefits are severely lacking and could use a good overhaul for what we pay bi weekly for. The green track program is excellent if they had more opportunities of advancement, but in the field once you hit CM status, you’re basically just stuck. However, this is great for the company having low turnover in staffing.
