Pros
-Smart coworkers -WFH opportunities for special occasion, but discouraged -Decent initial salary for being fresh out of college -Environment is not as toxic now (no more getting screamed at and being called stupid weekly)
Cons
-Easy to get in, hard to rise up -2% raise, no real promotion -Not great for real analytical experience (more like data entry) -Micromanagement -No seniority for when you interview for another position -Managers are not genuine -Not used up to your potential -After 6-12 months, you lose all motivation to continue -No one cares about quality of work, it's all about numbers -Seems like a lot of people across the board look down on JDAs -The whole team of JDAS left or got let go..that's about 100 people -This environment was really detrimental to physical and mental health (working 60+ hours on cases, not including breaks, and being told that your goal for the week will not be changed because it is just not their priority) With horrible managers, you lose all motivation and then learn to be lackey without getting in trouble. I used to come in early and stay late because I cared and towards the end I could barely make it in on time and focus on my goal. The sad part is that I have always felt that Tempus would not care if I got cancer even though this is a biotech company focused on cancer. Even after being loyal to Tempus for so long, I never felt job security.
