Cons

Avoid at all costs. The environment is extremely toxic to the point where partners do not want to work with the brand but most importantly the managers are extremely insecure and can’t take criticism. They believe they’re right when they’re wrong. To make it worst, managers don’t listen to customers or employees in regards to their concerns, which results in additional errors which employees have to sort out.

Pros

Responsive senior leadership with a serious growth potential. The company is young and enthusiastic and has a natural quick pace, the environment is best suited for an outgoing personality that is able to react positively and swiftly to change. There are tremendous opportunities for personal development and growth as well as cross functional movement within the company. Senior leadership is always personally available to hear any concerns.

Cons

The company is growing quickly and as such it would be worthwhile to invest in formal training of its employees as opposed to OJT (on the job training).

Handful of talented people & great flexshock product

What could be a highly profitable and successful company is chaotic and dysfunctional. They keep repeating the same vicious cycle with hopes that things will magically change. They have the ability to find very talented people but they treat them poorly so they don’t stay. No one is hired on with the tools to be successful. There are no formal processes or training to speak of. Everyone is thrown into a back logged situation with a sink or swim attitude. First off, STOP hiring for sales positions and focus on actually delivering the product. Because who cares if you can make the sales if you aren’t able to follow through to meet deadlines and customer requests?! The main issues are in Operations. It’s a complete joke! The UK has no clue on how to manage the daily logistics. There's no control or management of the US team. The US team sporadically shows up for work or disappears large portions of the day. Then when they finally do THEIR JOB they create a fuss so they're rewarded undeserving with promotions and privileges. Their abrasive and negative attitude caused carriers to flat out refuse to do business with Tech21. Tech21 prides itself on having a start up mentality. They need to get their act together by focusing their efforts on streamlining their processes and creating successful employees the company will never survive!
