Pros

Nothing , 3-4% increment , no facilities and variables pay also not giving full 50-70% even 0 when not working in any project

Cons

Don't know why people taking name of TCS as good company. Yeah it's good for lazy people who don't expect much growth in life or who are having their support system in this company base on region or religion. For good and knowledgeable person this company is not suitable. They will get frustrated in 6 months. One of the reason why noone care about employees in this company is ignorance of management who are so much busy on their personal life. On the name of increments this company giving penny to employee and instead of increasing the salary yearly you will get reduction on your salary either on variable pay or in form tax. Max increment in year is 9% and on a average it's 4-5% for maximum of employees. I will not surprise soon this company will be in loss because good employees leaving this company only lazy and who doesn't have knowledge are working in this company. I would suggest join that company which respect employee and provide proper increments and promotion timely basis.

Pros

Large client base. Talented people, have "cracked the code" on offshoring development and support.

Cons

For anyone used to working in US-based firms, the culture and politics will be difficult to understand and navigate. Internal policies and systems focus on the offshore delivery center model. Roles in the US do not fit into that mold, and obtaining approvals for simple expenses can require weeks and insanely high approval chains given the size of TCS. I needed approval from a global division head (a CEO direct-report) just to pay for a short training course. Missions of different departments are not clearly defined, so overlap and conflict are common.
