Pros

- Lots of exercise. I walked 7 - 10 miles a day at my store. - Friendly team for the most part - Busy work that is conceptually not difficult

Cons

-The busiest shopping hours can be stressful. The orders pile up and the timer never stops ticking, even when no one is in an order (as expected). Other departments were often times required to step into the shoes of a fulfillment member and help pick orders because we couldn't keep up, even though everyone's metrics were at or exceeding management's goals. Order volume will depend on your store though. - Often hires part-time at 39 hours/week to avoid giving benefits. - Never had a consistent schedule, even after discussing with management about getting one. Sometimes only had 6 hours off work before having to go back in for the next shift. - Fulfillment is still growing as a system and is changing a lot. Constant updates to the app used for picking orders changes the picking process, sometimes making the job more difficult. I think it would help if management / the programmers could receive feedback from fulfillment teams to make the right changes needed.
