Target does not provide adequate training for its employees. Most training is self paced and computer based. Executives exhibit the same behaviors for which team members are reprimanded and incite gossip by discussing employees in public areas, They are very focused on meeting corporate benchmarks and preparing for corporate visits and seem to lose site of day to day operations. Many executives are hired right out of college and have no real world experience.
