Pros

Lots of overtime opportunities, lax with tardiness or absences, casual dress code, "potential" to earn decent commission.

Cons

Metrics are controlled by AT&T and unrealistic to hit (coming from a top sales agent with 10 years of experience). If you do your job correctly and ethically it's quite literally random if you'll hit your primary disconnect metric, if you don't hit the metric you lose your entire bonus, it's all or nothing. Not a job I'd recommend to a serious sales agent. They hire anyone off the street (literally) and fire approximately 50 people per month and AT&T seems to be OK with this. If you're desperate for a job between jobs, they'll hire you on the spot, but keep looking for another job and don't stick around.

Pros

I liked phone tech support and am searching for more of the same.

Cons

Toxic management environment. Got a new manager who could do nothing but find problems. Got let go from a 50 - 100 person department a day after about 20 new trainees were brought in.
