Pros

In my time at Slack, I have been impressed with the thoughtfulness that everyone, from execs to peers, have put into building an intentional experience. This is true of the product, which differentiates itself both by being more enterprise-ready than competitors and a better experience for end users. But it's also true of the culture, which combines an intensity of purpose with a playful, empathetic approach. People aren't afraid to be human. I appreciate that our execs aren't afraid to make unconventional decisions and think about things differently to achieve our goals.

Cons

We are still in the middle stage between being a startup and a large public company. We went public very early in our lifecycle and grew quickly, so sometimes it can be hard to find certain information or specific answers to questions or policies. You have to be resourceful and determined in finding information.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback! Empathy is an important value at Slack and it’s great that you’re seeing it exemplified in our culture. We understand that we are a fast growing company and it can be difficult to find information - thanks for your patience as we work to provide you with clear information via tools like Guru and Workday. We also hope that Slack’s search feature can help with tracking down answers to your questions. Thanks again for your feedback!
