From the very beginning (even before I joined) my experience with Shippo has been truly fantastic. The interview process was one of the best I’ve ever gone through. Once I joined, the onboarding process continued that same high standard: extremely well-structured, with tons of valuable information, clear goal-setting, and realistic expectations. I felt welcomed, empowered, and set up for success right away. A small but awesome perk: you also get a brand new MacBook, which makes the start feel even more special! Cons
If I had to point out one specific challenge, it’s that if you choose (yes, you can choose!) to be an independent contractors (PJ) in Brazil, you'll have different benefits than full-time employees, particularly around paid time off. Holidays aren’t included, so time off is either unpaid or deducted from vacation days. It’s something to consider if you want to choose this model, but hasn’t taken away from the overall positive experience.
