Great employees. Some great bosses. Some legendary products, name recognition. Great place to build your resume while looking for another position elsewhere.
Cons
Used to have great benefits, profit sharing, bonuses etc - that's long gone. Benefits are below industry standard as well as the pay. Used to be that the pay was low but the benefits are great. Now both are below average. They will give you lip service about using an outside firm to review and ensure your pay is competitive and of course it always comes back that it is. If you are in sales, they will defer your compensation until the next year While earning interest for themselves. For everyone else outside of sales you get no bonuses, no profit sharing - even if the company has a banner year. Keeping your job is your bonus. Company is now restructured and more siloed than ever. Everybody does their own thing and nobody knows what the other hand is doing. Used to be competitive now competition is way ahead. Headquarters in Germany knows what is best for everyone - you have no say.
