Pros
They will work with you to get you hours you need. Easy to pass preemployment screening. You may end up working mostly alone.
Cons
There are more cons then pros but the pros outweigh the cons in my opinion. Pay is low. $10 an hour average. Better then minimum wage but still runs out before the next pay check and I live with my father. I don't expect any raises since Securitas is a subcontractor and what they pay us to start is probably the most they can from what they are getting paid plus their cut. I don't blame them for that though. Relief workers. If they don't show up your screwed and they probably won't get fired. It took 4 or 5 months for my coworker to be written up for being 45 mins late all but 5 days since I started. I'm a single mom and I NEED to leave at the end of my shift. Getting 40 hours at one site. No one wants to work 2 part time jobs to make up one full time job. I got very lucky. Others just have a hard time getting 40 hours at all. Their health insurance is a joke. It doesn't fit the ACA requirements. It's 15% of their average employees pay or $125 every paycheck. For the 'bronze' package. For one person. If I wanted to add my son it was almost 4 times that amount.
