If you are young and need something then this would be pretty good because of schedule adjustments for school or education. Not a fast food place so that might be better.

Don't recommend this company as a long term unless you want to be paid the same rate year after year. No bonus, no paid insurance, no increase in pay because it all depends on what the client will pay. If the client never raises the pay then Securitas doesn't pay extra because you have been there for years. Therefore, you will receive the same pay. Usually not a lot of room for advancement. Possible in other places but not in this area.

We get our own vehicles. We work pretty much independently. They are very easy going not really on your back too much as long as your doing everything right you should be good.

Well… there’s a lot No know can tell you a definite answer. Very difficult to get a higher up on the phone only really communicates though email and that’s if they reply I’ve waited for a month for a reply from my DSM and that’s because I called him to ask about it. Pay raises all I can say is good luck!

After some time in the company, Securitas recently has a high employee turnover rate, which can lead to inconsistencies in service quality. Also, the opportunities for career advancement within the company are limited. I seek for an extensive career advancement.

The pay is nice also overtime is available.

The pay is great but there is always problems with the payment. They try to shorten your check and sometimes people don’t get their checks for weeks ( not just the security specialists). Very unorganized with staff and schedules especially when doing overtime. Operations managers and senior managers are great but only have limited access so there is not much they can do to help specialists. HR is very hard to get ahold of and is not responsive to helping with issues that are brought to them. Union is responsive but they also give you the run around and your issues don’t get resolved in a timely many. You’re better off with Allied or Star security if you want a company to take your time and money seriously…
