Pros
Fellow workers are great bunch to work with. Posting is a great site,,and that's where it ends
Cons
Management has no respect for employees. Everything is fine until your on the payroll then you treated like dirt. No branch office in this Province (New Brunswick, Canada) Have to deal via e-mail or phone with branch office in another province 200 km's away. E-mails or phone calls are rarely answered unless they want something. Even though you have a set posting with set shifts that need covering, management cannot seem to get a schedule right,,or out on time resulting in some employee's working 12-16 hours with only 8 hours off between shifts. Work 8,12 or 16 hour shift with no break,,even though the law states break every 5 hours. Complain and you get fired. Pay is sub-par based on work required. Pay is always messed up,,,shorted hours,,,late,,, Training is 8 hours max,,,if any. Pay rate for training is less than min wage,,, Having to pay-out at least $100.00 just to get hired. $100.00 deducted from first pay to cover cleaning a USED uniform. Ask for a day off and one of two things are going to happen,,,either you'll work that day and get more hours than you want in a week or you'll not get enough hours to survive.
