Pros
I have a lot of years of work experience with many companies. This is the first company I've been with where I can sincerely say I’m happy and that I love my job. The People: The camaraderie is simply amazing. Everyone who works here is friendly and warm. It's like a big family, even though many of us are spread out across North America. When we do have a chance to all get together, it’s an incredible experience. Of course, there some personality differences and we don’t sit in circles and sing Kumbaya, but overall, everyone gets along great. The Leadership: Our president is fun, encouraging, supportive, and very approachable. He genuinely wants his staff to be happy. That trickles down to most (if not all) the people in leadership positions. No one seems to have a big head or a superiority complex. The Benefits & Perks: Great benefits, including all insurances and generous PTO policy. Lots of extra employee perks, especially if you're based in the NY office—team outings, games and activities, catered meals and goodies, company parties, etc. The annual company retreat is always so much fun. The Opportunity: The company is growing and there will be plenty of opportunity for advancement and promotion for many. Everyone cares about the health of the company and does their part to contribute to the success and progress of the company, and it doesn’t go unrecognized.
Cons
Because the company is experiencing such rapid growth, there are a number of internal processes that aren’t in place quite yet. But, the right people are aware and we’re all working towards making things easier and more efficient and striving for optimal communication between and inside each department.
