Pros

There were maybe 4 or 5 good people who I could lean on for support. None of them were in positions of power or management.

Cons

I was sexually harassed, when I told management they were dismissive and tried to cover their tracks. I was disrespected by management on a regular basis based on my age and gender. Employees frequently spoke inappropriately (ie, rape, sexual orientation, etc) about people that made me uncomfortable in the workplace. Everyone was overworked, underpaid, disrespectful and demanding in ways that were inappropriate for both my job description and my time.

Pros

Professional development opportunities, Retirement, health, dental, disability, life, and vision benefits. Tuition reimbursement for qualified training and educational programs. Family-oriented culture.

Cons

Minimal advancement opportunities. Unclear organizational goals and objectives. Communication is not open nor transparent. Broad performance goals and feedback. Seniority based advancement rather than merit based. Unstable income and no safety net. Policy changes tend to have long-term contradictory effects on achieving goals and objectives that were already unclear to begin with. Low morale, motivation, efficiency, productivity, and service quality. Outdated managerial and motivational theory. Inability to adapt to changes in workforce and market. Minimal recognition of employee efforts. High bureaucracy. Those who recommend change will be seen as disloyal and incompetent, even if attempting to create an environment that is mutually beneficial for internal and external stakeholders.
