Pros

You can gain the most experience working here - but only because this company will easily take advantage of you, if you allow it. I worked there for 6 years and learned a lot becuase I bounced around almost every department whenever people were let go or they quit and managment did not want to hire new people.

Cons

- No work/life balance. - Only received 1 raise. When I started, I was getting minimum wage. And then when I was introduced to the salary world, it was pitiful. But they thought the crumbs they gave me were sufficient. - The CEO is a BULLY. There is such a thing as constructive/professional criticism. She is not aware of this. Unless you're her favorite. - HR is a JOKE. Since HR is the owner’s son, I think it's safe to say that the role is the result of nepotism. I can tell because when I put in my notice, he didn’t even bother with an exit interview. - CEO used me as her personal assistant, production manager and factory coordinator; but asked me why I thought I deserved a raise? And then informed me that she would expect MORE from me if I got a raise. - Money is treated like a reward at this company, instead of a legally binding right that it actually is. If you don’t make her happy, your bonus will magically disappear. It’s like you’re a dog with a treat you might not get. - They’re so old school in how they do business that they RARELY ever sign on new customers. And then they’ll blame everyone but the people responsible for sales. - The higher-ups are GOSSIPS. They will stay behind closed doors for HOURS, giving the illusion on an important meeting or strategizing how to optimize the company. But no. They’re talking about you and making fun of everything about you and your team. - The favoritism is so obvious, it should be illegal.
