Pros

Great benefits, decent pay, and unlimited PTO

Cons

Over the past year has experienced rapid growth that has lead to a complete meltdown in operations that are no longer fit for purpose and make getting anything (hiring, procurement, reimbursements) done a constant struggle from the inside. Work life balance is non-existent and staff burn our rates are high and there is no management accountability. C-suite and managing directors are completely disconnected from the rest of the institute, despite pledges to increase equity and work as 'One RMI.'

Pros

Used to be a highly respected organization, used to be very supportive and flexible towards employees, quality of the job and leadership attitude towards employee needs has severely degraded

Cons

No opportunity for advancement or promotion. Everyone is expected to work beyond their job title for at least a year before even being considered for promotion, with promotion still being contingent on funding and not merit. Experience is very dependent on your manager, but there are very few competent managers available, and leadership generally lacks people skills and fails to give consideration to the needs of their employees. The new rotational associate program is ineffective and predator, taking advantage of overly qualified employees in entry level, underpaid positions.
