Pros

- Worked with a great team, without them I wouldn’t have lasted this long - Ok Christmas do - Develop tougher skin working there

Cons

- No salary reviews, colleagues had to fight for pay increases - Unhelpful culture, ask for help from other teams they don’t care - Directors will push you to do tasks beyond your remit and if you refuse they’ll accuse you of not being a team player - Constant gossiping about people who left the company years ago - For an IT company they will give you bad equipment - Lots of criticism, point this out they’ll praise you, then go back to belittling you a week later

Thank you for your review. I'm saddened to see your cons list is longer than your pros list. Obviously we want our employees to enjoy their career at Probrand, so please feel free to reach out to me directly and we can discuss your points in more detail if you wish. I'm happy to summarise a few points but would definitely welcome a more indepth chat so we can make improvements and shrink the cons list! Thank you for acknowledging the great teams we have within the business. We work hard to recruit and retain the best talent and feel we have developed a great working culture over recent years. Ha, yes some of our Xmas Do's have been legendary too! :-) A number of years ago, we implemented a pay review process where salaries are reviewed each year. The reviews are based on a number of factors including employee performance, company performance and we benchmark salaries against the industry. As mentioned above, we have worked hard on our culture, getting feedback and input from employees at all levels and are pleased that we have made huge steps in improving life at Probrand. Training and development has been a prioroty for us this year and we have invested heavily in training courses at all levels. This will be an ongoing focus for us as we understand how important growth and development is. We take all feedback seriously and will of course discuss your points internally, thanks again for your review.

Pros

Working at Probrand as an Account Manager in the Digital Sales team has been a very positive experience and a great opportunity to build core sales skills. The environment is fast-paced and engaging, offering hands-on experience in managing accounts, handling inbound opportunities, and developing knowledge of the IT solutions market. Probrand is a digitally led company with a strong “can-do” approach, which is reflected in the way the team works and supports customers. This mindset creates a proactive and forward-thinking environment. The team culture is a real highlight. Colleagues are supportive, approachable and contribute to a positive atmosphere on the sales floor, which makes a big difference day to day. A key strength of the role is the consistent weekly training and ongoing support from sales management. There is a strong focus on continuous improvement, sharing best practices, and helping individuals develop, which is particularly valuable for those looking to grow a career in sales. Targets are realistic and achievable with consistent effort and the clear performance metrics make it easier to track progress and stay motivated. There is good potential to progress and earn commission for those who are driven and follow the processes in place.

Cons

The initial training period involves a higher volume of proactive outbound calls and outreach while building experience and developing an account base. However, this is a valuable part of the learning process and helps build confidence and capability early on.

Pros

- Willing to take on employees who don't necessarily have experience within the sector - Opportunities for progression within the Digital Experience team based on strengths thanks to a supportive manager - Solid foundation of knowledge provided upon starting the role and built upon over time through weekly training sessions run by COO - Opportunity for collaboration across departments eg sales, marketing etc - Incentives to drive work ethic eg extra holiday days and vouchers - Opportunities to earn commission

Cons

- Working hours are slightly unusual (8:45-5:30) which can make commuting a bit more awkward especially when working in the office full time - Holiday allowance is low in comparison to other jobs I have seen advertised and also in comparison to the experience that my coworkers have had at other places of work - Sometimes there is a lack of communication between departments which can slow down processes eg between sales and DE team - Limited flexibility in working: the DE team is the only team which does not have the option for hybrid working despite all other teams being either hybrid or remote.
