Pros
There are many great things about working at Power, but the things that immediately come to mind are the opportunities for rapid growth, the limitless salary cap, and the many different ways to be involved within the company. Despite only having been at Power for 5 months, I can already say I have seen the emphasis placed on career advancement. The managers and supervisors are always looking for opportunities to put a new challenge in front of themselves and those around them. If you perform and demonstrate a willingness to do the little things well, there is no shortage of ways you can grow and advance. The money at this company is real. If you are disciplined and do your job well, you can make as much money (usually more) as you could anywhere in the country. Aside from just the basic expectations of the job, there are many different initiatives Power is a part of, and there are several branches within the company, all of which are open to you if you want to be involved.
Cons
This job is difficult. There is no easy way to say that. However, the difficulty of it is well tempered by the quality of people working around you and the financial incentives offered. Aside from the money, however, it is in incredibly rewarding to talk to a homeowner who you know needs help, and provide them with a positive, memorable experience they will tell their friends and family about. At Power we are all about being more than just a home remodeling company. We are about serving people with the very highest level of excellence, and leaving everything we touch better than we found it. The work-life balance can be difficult at times. Long days of hard work can make it easy to check out mentally at the end of the day, but it is important to make the very best use of that time after the work day is done. This job has helped me to focus more on my wife and use the time we do have together well.
