Pros

All inclusive trip to mexico for yourself and a plus one in December

Life as a CD rep (pre covid): You work an 11-7 shift monday through friday and every other saturday. There are daily "pump up" sales meetings going over numbers on the week, shoutouts for the newest people and the favorite mentors that management has and then nonstop blabbering that will make it hard for you to focus on for the 45 minutes- hour you are listening to it for. By 12pm you're off in your van to work for the day. Rain, shine sleet or snow, you are working (unless its a blizzard outside). CD teams have 6-7 people, you are jam packed into a van with a bunch of 20 year olds blasting music, shouting profanity and going over their "perfect pitch" chewing your ear off. If the neighborhood you are knocking in is close to an hour away, you are forced to shovel food down your mouth while driving out to the destination (no break at all). You then get dropped off by your mentor and you do not see them until its time to head back to the office. You are supposed to be back to the office by 7pm but don't count on it. You will be 15-20 minutes late a majority of the time. You have training with your team and mentor once per week for an hour. It's basically a mini version of the sales meetings that take place daily. They go over numbers and will role play using the script that is taught instead of the deceitful ways that they actually pitch at the door (not setting realistic expectations for home owners). You are paid $500/week as a base That comes out to about $11-$12 an hour. If you are looking for a steady hourly income for less work, do not even think about this place. Commission is earned off appointment generation as well as appointments that actually go through for an estimate. It's good but there are too many variables to get between you and your ability to earn. Favoritism in this company runs rampant. Statistically, certain neighborhoods will produce better numbers than other (appointments and estimates). Better numbers means better pay. These areas are usually saved for senior managements favorite mentors. If you aren't on a favorites team, good luck trying to produce in whatever towns are left over. If you are looking to transfer to a different department, the company forces you to produce numbers in your current role before being able to transfer and will not budge until you reach them. Fireable circumstances have taken place many times during my tenure here with the company and the people that were in the wrong were able to keep their jobs because they were a top producer and liked by management. And i am not talking about yelling at a customer or showing up late to work or missing a shift as a no call no show (use your imaginations). Ultimately this company only cares about their bottomline and will treat you like "what have you done for me lately". This place is a revolving door. They are big into political correctness and they force their ideologies onto you straight from the CEOs themselves. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY.

For those who are motivated, coachable, and willing to put in the work, there are tremendous opportunities for growth, advancement, and long-term success.

Cons

The company operates at a fast pace and maintains high expectations, which can be demanding at times. However, Power is constantly evolving, requiring employees to adapt quickly to new processes, priorities, and opportunities. While these changes support growth and innovation, success often depends on strong time management, resilience, and a willingness to embrace change and continuous improvement.
