Pros

Can’t really think of any except the product is nice. And some peers were great. But the rest were derogatory and degrading, Absolutely unprofessional and very cliquey. I guess the fact you can bring your pup to work is the only bright side.

Cons

I have PTSD from working here. I should have known in the interview process that this place is not run well. They asked me zero questions about my background. They were more interested in my taste in music and what I do for fun. And it went downhill from there. Owner/management and the harem of yes-men made day to day almost unbearable. It was awful and I can’t believe they’re still business. Unfortunately there’s no one there to air your grievances to, so there’s no one to report to when you are called names and yelled at. It felt like high school all over again. I’ve never seen more people cry at a work place than here.

Pros

The one good thing about PLG is that they used to hire lovely people.

Cons

The 5 star reviews are clearly coerced/fake. Notice how it's all generic positive things? They give 3% raises if anything at all. They removed most people from salary they'd had for years and dropped them down to hourly. They overwork people and when interviewing for a different position, I was told that "most of us cry at our desk". They launched and tanked a shoe company. Lost tens of millions of dollars because they couldn't take the time to properly test the footwear. They moved the headquarters of PORTLAND Leather Goods to AUSTIN, Tx for tax reasons. The CMO who is in charge of most the of the US based company, has zero experience and got their job by saying yes to everything the owner wants. The owner is a marketing guy, not a craftsman. If you want more insight, follow the him on LinkedIn, you'll see what kind of person he is.
