Pros

Work from home and health insurance.

Cons

Promised growth and opportunity to get promoted within the company when to get you hooked, but I was stuck in the same position for 2 years with no vision of future promotion. Extremely low pay for MA and for the position compared to other companies. Micromanaging is ridiculous. My old manager even tried to dictate days people could take off. When I left, I did not have an exit meeting. Had to chase down HR for information regarding exiting which they never got back to me on. After I left was went I reached out to a director who was able to send me all the information I needed. Terrible place to work, this company will delay you in life and make it hard to transfer skills. Frequent layoffs, no vision. Also I’d like to point out that the job I was doing did not match the job description I applied to (not even 10%).

Pros

My coworkers were all great. Being a CRO, a good variety of studies came through, giving me exposure to a variety of imaging modalities and study designs. The work is varied and interesting.

Cons

There has been some recent turnover and company structure changes due to the company recently being acquired.

Pros

Supportive co-workers make it worthwhile to stay Variety in therapeutic areas make it interesting to learn Customization in study design allows for a wide range of exposure to different study set-up needs Relatively generous PTO plan

Cons

No transparency from leadership Stressful deadlines/unrealistic expectations Lack of proactive communication between departments Most departments are currently understaffed Onboarding takes a long time Recent merger has caused too many things to change all at once creating a lot of chaos in the organization in an effort to 'streamline' Benefits have gone downhill over time Lots of overtime to keep up with study demands
