Pros
Great benefits, great team-oriented atmosphere and flexible work hours and time off.
Cons
The pay is not equivalent to the job duties you do on a daily basis. You not only end up doing your own job duties, but the duties of the sales reps, sales manager and sometimes those of corporate. There is also no official training for this position. You might get lucky and spend a few days looking over the shoulder of another specialist, but after that point you're on your own. Raises are miniscule and are really not distributed based on performance. You could be the hardest working person or the just doing the bare minimum and you will both get the same merit increase. There are bonuses, however they are completely dependent on the performance of your team and most will never get anything in the triple digits, if anything at all. The job is really only great to get some experience and move on to another company unless you want to be a sales rep. If you don't want to be a sales rep, your possibilities of moving into another position are marginal at best.
