Pros
In my case I have had the ability to work independently as long as I produced and was profitable. I have never been micromanaged which in my decades long experience in recruitment has been a breath of fresh air. I have one of the greatest teams to work with, with many people here for close to a decade. There is a defined company culture which has been developed over several years. You either accept it or not, but it has been tweaked across the years to have structure, which is very important. Genuinely I have had amazing team members both past and present. There have been implemented means for success such as our LMS and Talent Engagement team, and I am certain great things are to come from this firm I have been apart of for many years.
Cons
I really can’t think of much. Each person has their own opinions. After being a tenured employee I would like to know I can have additional time off, even though our practices are generally flexible with that.
