      Pros

      Decent Benefits overall. Typically good people overall. little travel and overtime in IT at least.

      Cons

      The norm is to try to do too much with too little and quality across the board suffers. As developers we have to fight to do things even minimally correct. The organization as a whole has a terrible relationship with IT and does not value it. Thinking regarding IT is at least 20 years behind the curve.

      Pros

      - Education benefits (but access/support depends on your manager) - Flexible workplace (work hours/wfh) - Diverse workforce.

      Cons

      - Does not support employee promotions. Very difficult to get promoted if you are not an engineer. - Low pay, salary increases depend on manager. For the past couple years, most employees did not even receive adjustment for inflation. - Constantly loses top talent because management is unwilling to invest to keep good employees.
