Thank you for taking the time to share this perspective. We recognize how discouraging it can feel when effort and contribution appear to be overshadowed by politics or personal connections, and we take these concerns seriously.
Neuron7’s intent and expectation is to operate as a merit-based organization, where performance, impact, and professional conduct drive opportunity. At the same time, we understand that perception matters, and when employees feel overlooked or unheard, it is a clear signal that we need to examine how our processes are being experienced on the ground.
As the company grows, we are actively working to bring more structure, clarity, and consistency across performance management, promotion decisions, and leadership accountability. This includes reinforcing objective criteria, improving transparency, and ensuring feedback is listened to and addressed constructively. In parallel, we have recently hired a Senior Director for Talent and Culture in Bengaluru, who is focused on strengthening people practices, improving consistency, and ensuring employees feel supported, heard, and treated with fairness and respect as we scale.
We are also reviewing how people processes are governed to reduce bias and reinforce fairness. Creating an environment where good work is recognized without the need to navigate politics is important to us, and we acknowledge that there is work to be done esp. where trust has been impacted. Feedback like this helps us better understand where expectations and experiences may not yet be aligned.
We remain committed to listening, improving, and fostering a professional culture rooted in integrity, fairness, and merit, one that continues to evolve as the organization grows.
