Pros
I used to love the culture, some of the people who are left still have the 'can do' attitude that I remember from days of old.
Cons
Genuinely, the last few years have been tough. Technical resources have been cut down to a tiny amount now that I felt it was impossible to get good proposals out of the door to clients. Quite often we would have to use post sales resource and Dimension Data would then look at a pre-sales task as a chargeable activity - you can imagine the response from clients. Management is a disaster. I saw some of the posts below reflect that too - the ship is rudderless and with the NTT merger, they've just kept 95% of the leadership which is a huge mistake. Systems have been apparently invested in but they are so siloed that nothing works. Every year they promise change but that's been for the same past 7 years. Sales training has been abandoned, mentoring (/senior management going to meetings with you) is always requested and cancelled at the last minute. This has been the unfortunate experience ever since I went into sales and through 5 different Directors. Lastly, the lack of transparency in the organisation was frightening. Any requests/approvals would be looked at management calls with no/little knowledge that they were happening. Frustrations build up and decisions made on 10% of the information as a result.
