Pros
Everything takes ages because of heaps of process so it can be chill at times. Good holiday allowance. The staff on the ground are lovely (it’s the decision-makers who are awful). Semi-recently appointed CEO is nice but she seems to wield zero power.
Cons
Who is in charge: a load of immature men getting paid too much to make biased decisions which they are not informed to make. They don’t know what they’re doing. The company doesn’t care about its employees - there’s posturing around career growth, etc but it ultimately amounts to nothing. They are cynical and those in charge are highly self-interested. Everything is put back onto the employees - senior managers do nothing. There is no budget to do anything social. Company is also stingy with swag (as in there is none). No free snacks or even milk in the office. And staff are forced to go in even though the wifi barely works and it's a battle to get a desk or meeting room. A very bad office setup. Used to be cool but has lost the plot. All the best people are now gone.
