Bad experience, people are not prepared to a interview. Random questions that doesn't prove anything about the candidate experience. I don't recommend if you don't have low experience in web, http, architecture .
I applied online. I interviewed at Mettle (London, England) in Apr 2023
Interview
The technical assessment was very easy. But I'm sure the hiring manager didn't put effort into reviewing the technical assessment. The task was to develop an etl pipeline that extract data from a json file.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Mettle (London, England)
Interview
The interview experience mirrored closely to what others have said here. It’s probably one of the worst interview experiences of my career, initially I was quite excited about the role, but the more people you interact with at mettle makes you realise it’s probably not the right place to work, it definitely gives of vibes of a toxic workplace, the interview questions are poor and the process feels like it’s setup to fail you. Also I got the impression they have plenty of time to waste and drag you to the last round for the sake of it. I’d also question the calibre of the people in the hiring process, they come across very inexperienced and not in a position to be interviewing anyone, in total it’s poor experience, in the end I’m glad I dodged a bullet here
