Pros

I have been working for MetaCoastal for about a month now, and I have had an incredible experience! Beginning with the interview and moving forward throughout my time here, I have been consistently impressed. The culture here is accepting, open and communicative; every question I have is met with a genuinely helpful answer. The teamwork in my department amazes me. The members of my team work together with an enthusiasm for their job that compels me to work harder to match it. This company values strong efforts and loyalty, and if you are willing to commit to putting forth your best effort, you will have a wonderful experience here.

Cons

Property Care during the summer is extremely busy, and we do hit a few bumps in the road. As long as the team commits to working together to think through timely solutions, these bumps are nothing major and do not have a negative effect on overall experience.

Our teams are close knit, as they work together to impact the well-being of our clients on a daily basis. It’s a fast-paced, think on your feet environment, and we are proud to have the talent to navigate it effectively. We completely agree that we have hit some bumps, but we are striving to be proactive and to be ready to face anything else that comes our way together.

Pros

Travel Benefits, 401K, Insurance, some good people.

There are honestly more downsides to working for this company than I care to catalog. The con to one of my pros - you get travel benefits, but good luck using them! If you would like to go to the beach in the winter this would be a great benefit for you. Trying to get a vacation in the summer is difficult as the travel season (May through September) turns the entire enterprise into disorganized chaos. As mentioned in other reviews (and by people more eloquent than myself), the environment is very toxic. Employees who could actually make a change are fired and the ones that cause multiple problems are praised. Although, as a female, I do not believe that there is anything sexist in play. Policies are only adhered to when it is convenient to management. There have been numerous cases where two employees have done the same thing and only one has been fired for it. This company knows that they have bad ratings across job sites and have been asking employees to leave good reviews. Take everything you read with a grain of salt because you never know if a former employee is disgruntled or a current employee has been asked to leave a good review.
