Pros
You have the opportunity to support amazing customers at NASA.
Cons
If you have family obligations this is not the place for you. Management has no concern for your family, health or work/life balance. They expect you to put your job first, always. Even if you are their top performer, if something personal happens that requires you to miss work they expect you to give your family the minimum attention possible and that the job should be the priority. This is the "Commercial Outreach Multimedia & IT Contract". You are not saving lives. If you want a family and a career I highly recommend looking elsewhere. In addition, as is typical with most government small business contracts, the pay scale is low and not worth the sacrifices expected. The bottom line is the most important driver and cuts will be made both to personal and systems in order to perceived by the government as low cost. There is no value placed on human capital nor how this company can build a better workforce. Their focus is very short term as they only have a couple of years left on the contract and will most likely not win the rebid. Even if they did, this mindset will not change. It simply is not conducive to their "re-bid" strategy.
