Pros
Strong company culture with a genuine sense of pride that comes from working for one of Denmark’s most iconic brands and a global industry leader.
Cons
For Danish standards, the workload can be quite heavy in certain departments, and I could see signs of this in some of my colleagues. In contrast, within my own team I often felt underutilized, as my experience and education could have been leveraged more effectively. This may stem from a global HR and leadership structure that didn’t fully understand the context and value of my background at the HQ level. I also discovered that I was undercompensated compared to a colleague with less experience and a less competitive academic background. While I raised the issue and hoped for a timely correction, the process moved too slowly, and ultimately a better opportunity came along. Leaving wasn’t my preferred choice, but the compensation imbalance became demotivating, especially for someone ambitious, in an environment that aims to attract and retain ambitious people.
