Pros

Better pay than other retail jobs

Cons

Difficult to take breaks because no cover. Expected to work a hundred miles an hour at all times because they spread staffing hours way too thin. 6am starts and up to 11pm finishes. Not at all good if you have a family or any caring responsibilities.

Pros

Intelligent engaged people, Modern offices, Decent pay, and good retirement benefits.

Cons

Growing pains of a European company modifying its business to grow its American footprint. Senior leadership was mostly European. Felt disconnected from American grocery culture.
