Pros

- Colleagues from all over the world and all levels of society, most of whom are nice - More flexible working arrangements than most companies of a comparable size - Subsidised food delivery service saves time - Occasional company engagement events which create opportunities to meet new people - Good maternity benefits and accommodation for new mothers (not much for fathers, unfortunately)

Cons

- The head office and all senior management have relocated to Singapore leading to the feeling of increased power distance - The company feels like two separate companies (HG and TX) who have incompletely merged - no overall leadership or strategy leading to middle and senior management pulling in different directions - The HR department have had multiple rounds of complete turnover, leading to inconsistent policies and an unclear performance review process - Annual below-inflation pay rises. Because of the unclear performance process, the only way to match or beat inflation is to go through a bureaucratic out-of-cycle process or sacrifice other team members' pay rises entirely - 10+ hour workdays have become the norm due to high attrition - Invisible C level leadership
