Pros

• High pay compared to other supermarkets • Lovely atmosphere in the workplace between staff, very much feels like friends or a team • Doesn’t feel like management sits at the top of the hierarchy, they are very fair, treat everyone with respect and do the same tasks as customer assistants • All staff are cross-trained for all aspects of the store so we can feel confident in every department • Thorough training

Cons

• Sporadic shifts, sometimes finishing at 10.30pm and starting again the next morning however this was immediately stopped when I asked management • Sometimes understaffed and the workload can be a little too much

Doesn’t use much of the new tools, excel only
