Lenovo is a fast moving company. We are always adapting to our market to stay ahead of the curve. Our best employees are hard working and adaptable, often wearing many hats. Although Lenovo is a large employer, we are more of a lean organization with smaller teams. This gives our employees greater responsibility with greater influence. Work life balance is something we value. We like our employees to work with management directly to manage that because every role is different. For instance, global roles have more after hour calls, due to time zone issues. Thank you for your feedback! and thank you for making Lenovo great!

Pros

Interesting work, good benefits, talented colleagues

Cons

Terrible manager behavior, terrible work-life balance, with no recourse or support for employees. I joined and quickly found that the ED I reported to had no experience in the area he oversaw, would not listen to anyone who had experience, was mean to his team members, and set wildly unrealistic expectations without any clear direction or consistency. Bullying, meanness and pointless criticism were the norm, while leadership was completely lacking. And if you work on the Digital Transformation team, expect to spend from 8PM-11PM at night and early morning on calls, with little regard for sleep or work-life balance. The worst part was finding out that the HR team was already well aware of all these problems with my ED (the two other managers under him quit), and the leadership team had no intention of making any changes. So disappointing.
