Pros

The people are great to work with and the engineers/scientists are extremely intelligent and approachable. You feel like a family. Great work life balance. (In my role) Love the exposure to full spectrum of industries and technologies.

Cons

Pay is not competitive. Benefits are not competitive. Management cannot clearly stick to one management style which confuses the employees. Keysight struggles with retaining young people. It is a place you go to die... Average age of company is in their 50-60's. Keysight needs to change their culture to keep the young people. You have to spend money to make money... Fear of speaking out to upper management unless you are part of their "club." You don't want to make waves... Unless you are looking to get fired... Management is 100% about share holders and investors, they could care less about how you feel. And if they decide to help someone who is struggling, it takes them at least 2 months to make a decision, and 2 more months for them to follow through...

Pros

One star for the amazing people, one star for paycheck.

Cons

When I left, it took at least a month to decompress from the toxicity. KGM reorgs were a regular occurrence (5 in a 2-year span, for example) resulting in colleagues reappearing in roles in which they have no experience or disappearing all together. This created a culture of constant backstabbing and insecurity. Leadership picked favorites, ignoring the talents of many and this was reflective in bonuses. They undervalue and lose a lot of talented people, and it continues in spite of their recent positive quarterly reports. Reactionary marketing strategies result in a lot of wasted time and work. Read the rest of the reviews before taking on a role here. You will see a pattern.
