Very odd process. Hiring manager emailed about a technical screening. No other info given. The two interviewers seemed disinterested and not very good software engineers. One of them asked a question in a rude tone. Very akward and unfriendly vibe. The questions they asked were poorly worded and they did not make it clear what they wanted. The company culture seems toxic and some of those reviews start to make sense. Glad the interview ended quickly

Question 1
Why use print statements instead of the debugger when trying to figure out a bug.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Keysight Technologies (Santa Rosa, CA)
Interview
The team demonstrated a strong, high-level understanding of metrology, with notable hands-on experience using CMM equipment and a deep command of GD&T principles. Throughout the conversation, they engaged thoughtfully with GD&T drawings and tolerances, asking informed questions that reflected both technical rigor and practical application.
One area for improvement would be the clarity and completeness of the job description. Providing a more detailed outline of day-to-day responsibilities, performance expectations, and cross-functional interactions would help candidates better assess fit and prepare more effectively.
Overall, the company made a positive impression. The interview itself was challenging but fair, and the discussion stayed focused on relevant technical and problem-solving topics.
