Pros

Excellent team members, that also enjoy their jobs - This really shows in meetings, when everyone is so relaxed and joking around, then turning to serious technical discussion. Everyone has their specialization and has the ability to try new things, as Keysight encourages learning and trying new things. Upper management is excellent; they are very professional and make very intelligent, well thought out business moves, keeping us all informed as we go.

Cons

This is a large company. And as such, it comes with the standard large company bad points... but Keysight does a good job at minimizing their impact on employees. * Large companies move more slowly (if you are into fast-paced work, take on a lot of projects, or find a start-up company instead, lol) * Main goal of the company is EPS. This is not necessarily bad, as Keysight does make some great decisions that keep our EPS up and not negatively impacting the business. But you can still see decisions driven by EPS and not long-term value. * Pay can be good or mediocre, it all depends on your geographic location, but it seems they are starting to change in this area, as the last round of raises, a lot of people are happy with.

Pros

One star for the amazing people, one star for paycheck.

Cons

When I left, it took at least a month to decompress from the toxicity. KGM reorgs were a regular occurrence (5 in a 2-year span, for example) resulting in colleagues reappearing in roles in which they have no experience or disappearing all together. This created a culture of constant backstabbing and insecurity. Leadership picked favorites, ignoring the talents of many and this was reflective in bonuses. They undervalue and lose a lot of talented people, and it continues in spite of their recent positive quarterly reports. Reactionary marketing strategies result in a lot of wasted time and work. Read the rest of the reviews before taking on a role here. You will see a pattern.
