Nice - Anonymous employee Karrot Employee Review

I truly cannot think of any. In today's hiring economy there are employees who will offer you endless benefits and training. This company is not that.

-They are unorganized -They will underpay you and then take advantage of you. (I.e. working over 10 hours a day DAILY) -You're supposed to get days some holidays off .... you won't (I asked the CEO to confirm a holiday off once and he told me to go talk to my team about it. I had no team. Also why wouldn't the CEO confirm). -They overcharge clients for a subpar product, overwork the software developers on the projects with unreal expectations, and then underpay those developers) -I can echo the other review and say there is absolutely no training. Zero. None. You are on your own. -I can echo the other review and say you will NEVER get a pay raise or a promotion. -Your job title means absolutely nothing you will end up doing tasks you have absolutely zero qualifications doing (I.e. I was in client success and ended up QAing projects before they were launched into development). -I can echo the other review and say there is not enough space to list the cons of working here avoid. -I would be floored if they were still in business 5 years down the road.

- had a take home test which took me about one whole day to design the research study - interviewers were all so polite and considerate. They didn't even give my any pressure during the interview

It felt like none of the interviewers had deeper understanding about UX Research which made them to question surface-level questions.
