Pros

Checks did not bounce, nice co-workers.

Cons

Replaced, fired, dumped over 40 key people in the last two years, all high level management positions! No raises, (unless you threaten to quit) no bonuses, mandatory OT on weekends and late-nights for salaried personnel. Work and new responsibilities are piled upon you until you break or are let go, Production is a never-ending backlog of late promises to the Customers, a non-stop series of musical chairs where responsibilities, duties, processes, and even manufacturing locations are constantly being switched around in hopes of finding some mythical perfect combination that NEVER comes!

Pros

The ownership is honest and committed to providing high value to our customers. Many of the other employees have been with the company for many years and are very committed to the companies core values.

Cons

The industry is changing, but there is still good opportunity.

Pros

If you are willing to step up and take on more responsibility, the leadership team will usually support you. With some exceptions, generally you will not be micromanaged. The people that work here are generally cool and nice, although most are very busy. Overall, this company is pretty customer focused and tries hard to do a good job.

Cons

The company is in a tough market, so thats one thing. Also the systems in the company can sometimes make everyone have to work hard to get things done. Sometimes things can get overcomplicated. Also, if you are waiting for someone to tell you what to do, then you might be waiting a long time at Insultech. Getting synched up with management about expectations and goals can be more of an art than a science here... but its absolutely essential to do that.
