Pros

IMPEX offers a unique blend of autonomy and support- you can truly run your own business while having leadership available when needed. Strong relationship with vendors like Dell, Nutani, Cisco, Vmware etc which helps tremendously in building credibility with customers. Great place to builds long term customer relationships and refine sales craft. Exposure to SLED accounts provides valuable experience navigating public sector procurement.

Cons

Needs a little focus on internal workflows and tools. Process can feel sometime manual. The pace can get intense if you are juggling multiple quotes, renewals and customer timelines.

Pros

After 22 years working at some of the largest technology companies in the world, it’s great to be at a place where I can walk directly into the CEO’s office, lay out exactly what a customer is looking for, and if it’s do-able, get the green light within minutes. No bloat, bureaucracy, or limitations. And speaking of customers, I love the fact that at IMPEX, relationships matter! Anyone who’s been in tech sales for larger organizations knows all too well that random account transitions, re-segmentations, etc., do a total disservice to customers. One of my biggest reasons for joining IMPEX was the opportunity to re-connect with customers I’ve known for 20+ years, knowing that IMPEX has the highest levels of technical capabilities and vendor partnerships to meet their needs.

Cons

IMPEX should be more name recognizable than it is, given the 27+ year history of continuous growth and high customer retention rate.

Pros

IMPEX is a place where real work gets done and results actually matter. The team is very smart, driven, and genuinely cares about doing the things the right way for customers. You are trusted with responsibility early, and if you prove yourself, you are given room to grow fast! The company really cares about helping people grow and develop their skills. Leadership is very accessible and involved, and long term client relationships show that the company always delivers on its promises. It is not a clock in clock out environment. People here take pride in what they do.

Cons

Pace is fast and the standards are high - which can be challenging for some. It's a performance driven environment. You must be able to manage multiple priorities without much hand holding. Keeping up with certifications is a year round task and can be challenging to manage with other work.
