Pros
Possibilities to work from home (depends heavily on your manager though... but the corporate policy favors it!) Work pressure is not too high
Cons
* I should say this job is in the Center of Incompetence, not in the main IBM Madrid office Horrible office: looks depressing, bad and noisy airco, no decent lunch spaces, not enough microwaves, no free coffee (people bring their own coffee machines which looks amateuristic and often leads to unsafe situations like machines that stay on all night), no relax spaces, no free parking spaces, ... * very bad salary (1333€/month) given the requirements they set (Bachelor/master, experience, speak 2+ languages fluently) * quite long office hours (9.00-18.00). 9.00-17.00 seems more reasonable. * constant cost cutting, even on the most ridiculous things (like a 5 internet usb sticks for 800 employees... too much lets cut on that...) * no room for growth * absolutely no room for salary raises * constant pressure of lay-offs * when IBM lays you off they dont pay you what they owe you!! If they owe you 100, they'll offer 25. Not happy? Hire a lawyer and fight 10 years in court. Since most people here are relatively poor they just take whatever IBM proposes.
