Cons
This is a 24 x 7 x 365 manufacturing operation. Because of recent downsizing some services such as education have been cut. In addition at times it is difficult finding the right person to assist with issues. There is a mix of production and development wip in the line which can cause some comtention with tool time for development work. The overall atmosphere is that of a sense of urgency which at times can adversely affect personal life balance. Mentoring is encouraged but is often hard to arrange due to work constraints and committments. The engineering community is located in large cube farms.
